We are looking for an ambitious and motivated draftsperson / engineer who is keen to gain schematic drafting / production, training delivery, project delivery and broad operational exposure, which shall be the foundation of your growth within the business and an opportunity to build the rest of your career.
You will work amongst a diverse and multi-skilled team (acknowledged as industry-leading specialists) that is made up of –
- Senior Engineers & Technical Advisors;
- Project Managers;
- Project Engineers;
As part of your role, you shall produce / re-produce hydraulic schematics in an innovative software program, execute processes and procedures to ensure that each project is carried out in accordance with contract requirements, and coordinate provision of relevant technical knowledge and hydraulic simulation development as required in the execution of each project. You shall be required to travel to onshore sites as part of your projects in verification of production systems, and in delivering training program content at remote sites. As you grow and develop the role, there may be the opportunity to progress and act as a Project Engineer for work scopes at our workshops, and at onshore and offshore sites.
Our preference is for a recent graduate (up to 5 years’ experience) with a passion for hydraulics and driving new innovations, and a desire to create a permanent role for yourself in the business.
You will have a proactive can-do attitude and thrive on challenges. You shall be willing to “go the extra mile”, and have the ability to manage numerous and shifting priorities and work pressures.

Knowledge of, and experience in –
- Hydraulic systems for Mining or Oil & Gas
- Computer competent
- Experience in tutoring/instruction
- Mechanical / mechatronic engineering degree or similar
