Offshore Fire Water Pump Pipe Stack Overhaul

Project Overview:

Pressure Dynamics was engaged to overhaul a fire water pump pipe stack on an offshore platform in Western Australia. As a critical component of the platform’s fire suppression system, maintaining the integrity and reliability of the pipe stack was essential to supporting ongoing operational safety.

Our Approach:

The scope involved the complete disassembly, cleaning and inspection of the pipe stack, followed by the replacement of key components, including O-rings, backup rings and anodes.

The team also removed marine growth from associated components, including the pump strainer, hose brackets and fasteners. Following reassembly, pressure testing and flushing were completed to verify system integrity and performance.

Project Outcome:

Pressure Dynamics successfully completed the overhaul ahead of schedule and under budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

The completed works supported the ongoing reliability and operational readiness of the platform’s critical fire suppression infrastructure, demonstrating Pressure Dynamics’ capability to deliver efficient maintenance solutions for offshore assets.
