Pressure Dynamics is proud to recognise the achievement of Simon Helm and Saransh Ravi, who have successfully completed the Naval Nuclear Foundations course delivered by Curtin University in partnership with H&B Defence and Curtin Learning Enterprise and Partnership Engagement (CLEPE).
The program has been developed to provide Australian small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with a foundational understanding of the naval nuclear environment, helping to build industry capability and readiness to support Australia’s evolving defence requirements under the AUKUS framework.
As Australia continues to develop its sovereign defence and naval capabilities, initiatives such as the Naval Nuclear Foundations course play an important role in preparing industry professionals to engage with emerging opportunities and contribute to the long-term success of the nation’s defence sector.
Throughout the course, participants gained valuable insight into the operational, technical and regulatory considerations associated with naval nuclear programs. A special acknowledgement is extended to Ashley Schneider, Chris Saint and David Long from HII, whose combined 80-plus years of real-world nuclear industry experience provided participants with practical knowledge and firsthand perspectives from the sector.
The successful completion of the program by Simon and Saransh reflects Pressure Dynamics’ ongoing commitment to investing in the development of its people and ensuring the organisation remains well-positioned to support the future needs of the Australian defence industry.
As a Western Australian-owned engineering company supporting defence projects across Australia, Pressure Dynamics continues to strengthen its technical capability and industry expertise to contribute to the growth of sovereign Australian defence capability and the opportunities emerging through AUKUS, naval shipbuilding and defence sustainment programs.
Congratulations to Simon and Saransh on this achievement and their commitment to professional development.
